IN RE: APPROVAL FOR APPLICATION FOR OPERATIONAL MANPOWER
PLANNING GRANT FROM U. S. DEPARTMENT OF LABOR
TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
Mr. C.•:,irman, Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS your Special Manpower Comm 7 ttee recommends that the County of
Oakland apply for a $75,000,00 Operational t H:ter Planning Grant from the U, S.
Department of Labor, with no contribution of County funds; and
WHEREAS said Grant will be applle for the purpose of plannin- power
programs to be implemented after July 1, 1974;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Counf:, of Oakland file application
„(101) Operational Manpower Planning Grar e U. S. Department of
Labor, with no contribution of County funds.
The Special Manpower Committee, by Lillian V. Moffitt, Chairman, moves the
adoption of the foregoing resolution,

immediate consideration of the resolution.
