Szabo, Chairman IN RE: STATE TAX COMMISSION HEARING ON STATE EQUALIZED VALUE FOR COUNTIES TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS Mr. Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of Act 106 of the Public Acts of 1960, as amended, the State Tax Commission will meet in the City of Lansing at the Seven Story Office Building on Monday, May 22, 1972, to hear representatives of the several counties pertaining to the State equalized value for each county in the State; and WHEREAS your Committee recommends that all members of the Equalization Committee, the Equalization Department Director and Civil Counsel, be appointed to appear before the State Tax Commission on behalf of the County of Oakland; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to the provisions of Act 106 of the Public Acts of 1960, as amended, the following named persons shall be appointed by the Oakland County Board of Commissioners to represent the County of Oakland at the hearing of the State Tax Commission to be held in the City of Lansing on Monday, May 22, 1972: Equalization Committee members, Albert F. Szabo, Harry W. Horton, Fred D. Houghten, James Mathews, Niles E. Olson, Waiter W. Paholak and Richard R. Wilcox; Equalization Director, Herman W. Stephens and Civil Counsel, Robert P. Allen. The Equalization Committee, by Albert F. Szabo, Chairman, moves the adoption of the foregoing resolution. EQUALIZATION COMMITTEE Moved by Szabo supported by Lennon the resolution be adopted. A sufficient majority having voted therefor, the resolution was adopted.
