Aaron,-ChaiT July 1, 1971 RESOLUTION NO RE: FEDERAL GRANT FOR POLICE LEGAL ADVISER PROGRAM BY PUBLIC PROTECTION AND JUDICIARY COMMITTEE - Mr. Aaron TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MR. CHAIRMAN, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN: WHEREAS, the County of Oakland received a Federal Grant for the establishment of a Police Legal Adviser Program for one year; and WHEREAS, the one-year Program will terminate on June 30, 1971; and WHEREAS, there is available additional Federal funds to finance the Police Legal Adviser Program for one additional year. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that William M. Richards, Chair- man of the Oakland County Board of Commissioners be and he is hereby authorized to make and execute the necessary applications for Federal Grant Funds that may be available for a Police Legal Adviser Program. The Public Protection and Judiciary Committee, by Mr. Dennis M. Aaron, Chairman, moves the adoption of the foregoing resolution. 5761 #5761 FISCAL NOTE Pursuant to Me 11C, the Finance Committee reports that the sum of $2,200 is availab1e in the 197t Contingency Fund.
