RE: FEDERAL GRANT APPLICATION FOR TRAINING INSTITUTE FOR DRUG ABUSE PREVENTION BY: HEALTH COMMITTEE - Mr. Burley TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MR. CHAIRMAN, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN: WHEREAS, there are Federal funds available for a Training Institute for Drug Abuse Prevention for Law Enforcement Officers and School Authorities; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to file a Grant Application with the Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice for said funds; and WHEREAS, your Committee believes it to be in the best interest of the County of Oakland to file said Grant Application. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Chairman of the Oakland County Board of Commissioners be and he is hereby authorized to execute the necessary applications for! any Federal Grant Funds that may be available for a Training Institute for Drug Abuse Prevention for Law Enforcement Officers and School Authorities. The Health Committee, by Mr. Dale, C. Burley, Chairman, moves the adoption of the foregoing resolution. HEALTH COMMITTEE 5737 Moved by Burley supported by Szabo the resolution be adopted. A sufficient majority having voted therefor, the resolution was adopted. STATE OF MICHIGAN) (s s. COUNTY OF OAKLAND) 1, Lynn D.
