RESOLUTION NO.
RE: COMPENSATION. FOR MEMBERS OF THE OAKLAND
COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
BY; COMMITTEE ON COMMITTEES
TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
MR, CHAIRMAN, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
WHEREAS, Miscellaneous Resolution No 5404 was referred to
the Committee on Committees for recommendation; and
WHEREAS, your Committee on Committees recommends that the
Compensation of members of the Board of Commissioners, other than
Chairman and Vice-Chairman, be established at a flat rate salary
of $6,200,00 per year, plus $35.00 per diem for attendance at
meetings, with a. maximum per diem of $3,000,00 per year and mileage
to be paid at the rate of 100 per II
NOW THEREFORE BE TT RESOLVED that the total compensation for
members of the Oakland County Bcx3.rd of Commissioners, other than
Chairman and Vice-Chairman for a two year term as Commissioners
commencing on January 1, 1971, be and the same is hereby established
as follows:
Members, Fiat Rate Salary of $6,200.00 per year, plus
$35.00 per diem for attendance at meetings with a
maximum per diem of $3,000.00 per year and mileage
to be paid at the rate of 1Cik per mile.

the adoption of the foregoing resolution,

FINANCE COMMITTEE FISCAL NOTE
RE: COMPENSATION FOR MEMBERS OF THE OAKLAND
COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
MR, CHAIRMAN, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
Pursuant to Rule 15-b of this Board, the Finance Committee
reports that there are sufficient funds available in the 1.971
Budget for the compensation of the members of the Oakland County
Board of Commissioners, and further, that this Committee makes
no recommendation as to said compensation.
Moved by Edwards supported by O'Brien the resolution be
adopted.
Moved by Benson supported by Kasper the resolution be tabled
until July 31, 1972. (Motion withdrawn)

A sufficient majority huving voted therefor, the resolution
was adopted.
