RE: DRUNK-0-METER TESTS AND BLOOD TESTS FOR AUTO DRIV LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEE - Mr. Powe ll TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MR. CHAIRMAN, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN: WHEREAS, the Traffic Improvement Association recommends: 1. The presumptive blood-alcohol level in the implied consent law be reduced from 0.15• to 0.10%. 2. That a blood sample be taken from anyone killed on the highways. 3. That a blood-alcohol test be taken of any driver of a 51409 motor vehicle in an accident and involvinq a fatality. WHEREAS, your Committee recommends that this Board supports the proposed changes of the Traffic Improvement Association. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board Of Commissioners supports the recommendations of the Traffic im- provement Association as follows: 1. The presumptive blood-alcohol level in the implied con- sent law be reduced from 0.155 to 0.10%. 2. That a blood sample be taken from anyone killed on the hinhways. 3. That a blood-alcohol test be taken of any driver of a motor vehicle in an accident involving a fatality. MR. CHAIRMAN, on behalf of the Legislative Committee, I move the adoption of the foregoing resoiutuion. LEGISLATIVE COMMITTS2. #51+0 9 Moved by Powell supported by Gabler the resolution be adopted. A sufficient majority having voted therefor, the resolution was adopted.
