Allen County Clerk-Register of Deeds County of Oakland 1200 North Telegraph Road Pontiac, Michigan 48053 Dear Mr. Allen: We have received a copy of Miscellaneous Resolution #5317, concerning a proposed future treatment for the Montcalm Extension in the Pontiac area, which was adopted by the Oakland County Board of Supervisors at their March 19, 1970 meeting. This resolution will be kept on file as an indication of the concensus of the Oakland County Board of Super- visors concerning the location of this facility. The extension of Montcalm Avenue itself is jurisdictionally a responsi- bility of the local area and not the Department of State Highways. At the present time, studies for the relocation of M-59 in the Pontiac area are in a preliminary stage only and no funds are programmed for con- struction within the period extending to 1975. No decision concerning the type of facility and its location will be made until planning and route location studies are completed.
