CHAIRMAN, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN: WHEREAS, there has been recommended to this Committee a pro- ject entitled, the "Law Enforcement Statistical Reporting System"; and WHEREAS, said Law Enforcement Statistical Reporting System 5392 will aid in combating crime by creating Depository for criminal information to be used by law enforcement agencies within the County of Oakland; and WHEREAS, the Oakland County Data Processing Center will be used as the depository for the Law Enforcement Statistical Reporting System; and WHEREAS, the initial cost of the project is $131,300.00, broken down in the following manner: Federal Funding by Federal Grant $79,100.00 County of Oakland in kind matching services such as salaries paid Data Process Employees, etc. County of Oakland Appropriation $33,800.00 $18,900.00 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the County of Oakland estab- lish Phase I of the Law Enforcement Statistical Reporting System designated as the "Law Enforcement Management System". BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chairman of the Oakland County Board of Commissioners be and is hereby authorized to make and execute an application for the Federal Grant in the sum of $79,100,00 in the form attached hereto.
