In re: Veterans' Affairs Committee
To the Oakland County Board of Commissioners
Mr. Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS the State Senate Committees were announced for the

WHEREAS the Michigan State Senate has reorganized and, under
the new organization, the Senate will not have a committee charged
with consideration of military or veterans' affairs.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board
of Commissioners goes on record in support of the special needs
of veterans by re-establishing a separate committee titled and
charged with military and veterans' affairs.

County State Senators.
MR. CHAIRPERSON, I move the adoption of the foregoing resolution.
