KUHN, JR., CHAIRPERSON IN RE: SHERIFF DEPARTMENT - INCREASE IN FEES TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS Mr. Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS the Sheriff's Department presently charges customers for various types of photostats, etc.; and WHEREAS the Sheriff's Department has not had an increase in these rates for several years; and WHEREAS the cost of supplies and labor has increased substantially over the past several years; and WHEREAS in order to recover the cost of these services, an increase in the fee structure is required from the present rates consistent with the attached Schedule A. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Commissioners approve Sheriff's Department increase in fees per the attached Schedule A effective January 1, 1990. Mr. Chairperson, on behalf of the Public Services Committee, I move the adoption of the foregoing resolution.
