KUHN, JR., CHAIRPERSON IN RE: SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT - TWO (2) ADDITIONAL DEPUTY POSITIONS - LAW ENFORCEMENT PATROL SERVICE - CITY OF ROCHESTER HILLS TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS Mr. Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS it is the policy of the Oakland County Board of Commissioners to permit the Sheriff's Department to enter into contract agreements with Local Units of Government for the purpose of a Law Enforcement Patrol Services; and WHEREAS the City of Rochester Hills wishes to enter into such an agreement for the addition of two (2) full-time Deputies for the purpose of a Law Enforcement Patrol Services for the period January I, 1990 through December 31, 1991 and renewable annually thereafter at rates established by this Board. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Commissioners authorizes the Chairperson of the Board and the Oakland County Sheriff to enter into an agreement with the City of Rochester Hills for the addition of two (2) Deputies for the purpose of Law Enforcement Patrol Services at the annual rate of $60,747 for the year ending December 31, 1990 and $63,416 for the year ending December 31, 1991 as established by M.R. #89199. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED to create two (2) Deputy H positions in the Township Patrol Unit of Protective Services. Mr. Chairperson, on behalf of the Public Services Committee, I move the adoption of the foregoing resolution. PUBLIC SERVICES COMMITTEE #89318 November 30, 1989 The Chairperson referred the resolution to the Personnel Committee and the Finance Committee. There were no objections.
