PROPOSAL FOR IMPLEAENTATICN CF 1988 PUBLIC ACT 22 'Victim's Rights Act" 1988 Public Act 22 became effective in Michigan on June 1, 1988. This unit will be responsible for: (1) the preparation of notices to victims; (2) respond to inquiries about victim's rights; and (3) respond to the specific requests of victims as specified in the act. Copies of the initial material to victims advising them of their rights is attached.
