APPROVE THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION
MISCELLANEOUS RESOLUTION 88310

IN RE: PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT - EMPIOYMENT AND TRAINING DIVISION
TRANSFER TO COVER COSTS NOT ALLOWED BY GRANT FUNDS
TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
Mt. Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS there was a replacement in the Managers position in the
Employment and Training Division and an appointment of an interim manager
for three months; and
WHEREAS the former Manager was removed from any J.T.P.A. program
activity for three months prior to the effective resignation date; and
WHEREAS the costs totaling $28,720.60 as detailed in the attached
schedule for the position have been funded by J.T.P.A. grant funds; and
WHEREAS it is anticipated that these costs will be disallowed during
an annual audit.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of
Commissioners transfen3$28,720.60 from a non-departmental special
contingency (#4-10100-901-01-00-9912) to the Employment and Training
Division Indirect Cost Line Item to cover the above mentioned cost.
Mr. Chairperson, on behalf of the Finance Committee, I move the
adoption of the foregoing resolution.
