Calandro, Chairperson IN RE: PERSONNEL DEPARTMENT - SALARY ADMINISTRATION SECOND QUARTERLY REPORT FOR 1990 TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS Mr. Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS the Salary Administration Study Group Reports approved by the Board of Commissioners for Grades 1 - 21 provided for a review and appeal process for departrents and employees wishing to challenge the salary grade placement of classifications; and WHEREAS the Second Quarterly Report for 1990 was submitted to the Personnel Committee identifying the reviews requested and the salary grade changes recommended by the Personnel Department after completion of this review process; and WHEREAS funds have been established in the Classification and Rate Change fund to implement salaty grade changes resulting from salary administration quarterly report recommendations: .and WHEREAS the Personnel Committee has reviewed and approved this report; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that changes in salary grade placement and reclassifications be implemented as shown: Patient Activities Coordinator (1634502303) Drain & Pollution Control 10 11 Maintenance Supervisor (6112502036) Chief-SOC Pollution Control -15 (6112502309) County Librarian 12 13 (5130102083) Entrepreneurial Specialist 12 (1920104652) 7 8 Retitle to Activities Coprdinator-MCF • 11 Retitle to SOC Laboratory Supervisor 13 Reclassify one position to - new class of Senior Entre- preneurial Specialist (No/CT) Mr. Chairperson, on behalf of the Personnel Committee, I move the adoption of the foregoing resolution. WILLIAM CADDELL, CHAIRPERSON IN RE: PERSONNEL DEPARTMENT - SALARY ADMINISTRATION SECOND QUARTERLY REPORT FOR 1990, MISCELLANEOUS RESOLUTION # 90179 TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS Mr. Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen: Pursuant to Rule XI-G of this Board, the Finance Committee has reviewed Miscellaneous Resolution #9aE9 and finds: 1) The Personnel Committee has approved the attached Salary Administration Second Quarterly Report for 1990; 2) Governmental funded salary cost for the period August 11, 1990 through December 31, 1990 is $1,638, fringe benefit cost for the same period is $487; 3) Governmental funded annual cost for 1991 is $ 4,276 for salaries, $1,270 for fringe benefits; 4) Funds are available in the 1990-1991 Appropriation Reserve for Transfer Classification and Rate Changes Account (909-01-00-9902) and recommends the following amendments: 1990 1991 4-10100-909-01-00-9902 4-10100-513-01-00-1001 4-10100-513-01-00-2070 4-10100-192-01-00-1001 4-10100-192-01-00-2070 Rate & Classification Changes Board of Comm.
