MISCELLANEOUS RESOLUTION 90191 August 9, 1990

IN RE: DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS - AUTHORIZATION TO RECEIVE BIDS-
REBUILDING OF SOUTHERN PORTION OF MATERIALS MANAGEMENT CENTER
PARKING LOT
TO: OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS,
MR. CHAIRPERSON, LADIES, AND GENTLEMEN:
WHEREAS, the construction of the Materials Management Center is
proceeding ahead of schedule; and
WHEREAS, such a schedule would allow the rebuilding of the
heavily used southern portion of the surrounding lot to be done this year
before the building is occupied; and
WHEREAS, this resurfacing has been estimated to cost $80,000;
and
WHEREAS, funding for this project is available in the Paving
Program line item of the Utilities, Roads and Parking Lots portion of the
1990 Capital Improvement Program,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Department of Public
Works be, and is hereby, authorized to advertise said project for bids,
receive bids, and to report to the Planning and Building Committee upon
receipt and tabulation of such bids.
Mr. Chairperson, on behalf of the Planning and Building
Committee, I move the adoption of the foregoing resolution.
