RE: CORPORATION COUNSEL - REAL ESTATE SECTION - Lease Renewal for Foundation for Behavioral Research, Inc., (Job Club) at 196 Oakland TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS: Mr. Chairperson, Ladies & Gentlemen: WHEREAS, the Foundation for Behavioral Research., Inc., (job Club) is presently occupying space at 196 Oakland; and WHEREAS, The Foundation for Behavioral Research, Inc., (Job Club) is a non-profit organization under contract with the Department of Social Services; and WHEREAS, the Foundation. for Behavioral Research, Inc., (Job Club) is responsible for training clients assigned by the Department of Social Services in job search; and WHEREAS, there exists a. lease agreement between the Foundation for Behavioral Research, Inc., (Job Club) and the County of Oakland for 570 square feet at the rate of $5.96 per square foot at a term of one (1) year commencing October 1, 1990; and WHEREAS, the Foundation for Behavioral Research, Inc., (Job Club) is desireous of renewing the existing lease for a term of 12 months for 570 square feet and at a rate of $6.40 per square foot in Twelve (12) equal installments at the rate of $304 per month. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Commissioners renews the 12 month lease with the Foundation for Behavioral Research, Inc., (Job Club) and authorizes its Chairperson to execute said lease renewal. WILLIAM CADDELL, CHAIRPERSON IN RE: CORPORATION COUNSEL - REAL ESTATE - LEASE RENEWAL FOR FOUNDATION FOR BEHAVIORAL RESEARCH, INC., (JOB CLUB) AT 196 OAKLAND MISCELLANEOUS RESOLUTION #91212 TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS Mr. Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen: Pursuant to Rule XI-G of this Board, the Finance Committee has reviewed Miscellaneous Resolution #91212 and finds: 1) Per the current agreement, Behavioral Research occupies 570 square feet at 196 Oakland Avenue in Pontiac at a rate of $5.96 per square foot. 2) The proposed agreement renews the current contract at the existing square footage with an increased rate to $6.40. 3) Annual lease agreement increases from $3397.20 to $3648.00. with an effective date of the agreement is October 1, 1991 -September 30 1992. The 1992 - 1993 County Executive Recommended Budget for building space cost allocation anticipated the receipt of revenue from Behavioral Research at the $6.40 rate; therefore no budget amendments are recommended.
