RE: ElSnMENT TO CONSUMERS POWER CO.

TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY WARD OF SUPERVISORS
CHAIRMAN, LADIES & GENTLEMEN:
WHEREAS, Consumers Power Company has requested an easement
for gas transmission line across the County owned property located
adjacent to the Grant Trunk Western Right-,of-way and fronting on
Stanley Avenue; and
WHERAS, your Buildings and Grounds Committee has reviewed the
request of the Company and recommends that the County grant an easement
.4,y; such gas transmission main; and
WHEREAS, the Consumers Power Company has agreed to reimburse
the County for any damage to roads, fences, driveways, etc in the
con..!....ctx and maintenance of said transmission main,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Chairman and Clerk of
this Board be and they are hereby authorized to execute the easement
to Consumers Power Company for said main, on behalf of the County of
Oakland, said easement to include the construction, operation and
maintenance of a gas transmission main under, through and across the
following described property:
11 Part of the Northeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Sec-
tion 18 , T 3 N, R 10 E, Pontiac Township, Oakland County,
Michigan, described as commencing at East 1/4 corner of
SeiAion 18, thence North. on East section line 1702.29 feet
to p.o.B., thence North on East section line 329.6 feet.;
thence North. 89 degrees, 45 minutes, West 877,08 feet to
Ant of tangent; thence along a 9 degree, 30 minute curve
left with central anO:e of 41 degrees, 19 minutes,
=ieconds distant 435 feet to point of tangent; thence
)uth 48 degrees, 55 minuts 30 seconds West 37.1 feet to
orth ,ind South. 1/8 line O..L 1/2 of Section 18; thence
South on South 1/8 line 160 toet; thence East to P.O.B.
cmtaining 9.5 acres, exctik,g the East 43 feet..
Second party •shall locate said mute in, under, through and
across the north 20 feet of the above described land."
