Re: Amending Rates for Water and Sewage Treatment Systems
Mr. Chairmcin, Ladies and Gentlemen:
I offer the following resolution:
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 3394 the Board of Supervisors did, under
Miscellaneous Resolution No. 3395, passed June 23„ 1958, did establish Rates for Water
and Sewage Treatment Systems, and
WHEREAS,. the Board of Public Works has deemed it advisable to amend the Service
Rates for each premise to include a flat service charoc for water, where meters are not
used as a means of determining actual water consumption,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the "Schedule of Service Rates for each
Premise", as established by Miscellaneous Resolution No. 3395 be amended to read us
follows;
Water Rate
SCHEDULE OF SERVICE RATES FOR EACH PREMISE
Metered Services
$1:50 per 1000 cu.ft. Min. $250 per quarter
plus monthly meter
Meter Service Rate
Sewage Disposal Rate
$ ,50 per month-5/3" meter
.65 per month-3/4" meter
1.00 per month- 1" meter
$ .60 per 1000 cu.ft.of Min, $5,50 per quarter
water consumed
Flat Service Rate
(When meters are not used as a means of
determining actual water consumption)
Water Rate $13,50 per quarter for single family residence
Sewage Disposal Rate $ 5.50 per quarter for sing le family residence
