CHARTER AMENDMENT PROPOSAL A
Shall Section 3.5 of the Charter of the City of Oak Park be amended to provide for
a change in the date on which the municipal Judge and/or associate municipal Judge
of the City shall commence their terms of office if the election for such offices is held
in November?
CHARTER AMENDMENT PROPOSAL B
Shall Sections 4.4 (a), (b) and (c) of the Charter of the City of Oak Park be amended to change the method of selecting the Mayor Pro Tern for the term of office corn-
mencing with the regular City election in 1973, and providing for a line of succession in that office?
- CHARTER AMENDMENT PROPOSAL C
Shall Sections 5.7 (a) and (b) of the Charter of the City of Oak Park be amended
and the Charter further amended by adding Section 5.7 (d) to change the period
during which the council may fill vacancies in the council to thirty (30) days after
the vacancy occurs before a special election is called and provide for filling vacancies
in the office of Mayor by succession of the Mayor Pro Tern to that office?

• to provide a prohibition against City elective officers becoming candidates for other

for post retirement redeterminations and an increase in retirement allowances not
to exceed 2.5 percent per year?
