Callan 8 NOVEMBER 1 973 AT THE REGULAR CITY ELECTION HELD IN THE CITY OF OAK PARK ON NOVEMBER 6, 19731 THE FOLLOWING PROPOSALS TO AMEND THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF OAK PARK WERE APPROVED BY THE ELECTORATE OF. SAID CITY. • YES 3220 NO 1560 CHARTER AMENDMENT PROPOSAL No. 1 Shall Section 18.7 of the Charter of the City of Oak Park be amended to provide for an actuarially computed method for determining an employee's retirement allowance, on a reduced basis for early retirement? YES 2949 NO 1961 CHARTER AMENDMENT PROPOSAL No. 2 Shall Section 18.7 of the Charter of the City of Oak Park be amended to provide for a reduction in the minimum age to age 50 for Public Safety Officers and age 55 for other classes of employees at which they may voluntarily retire? YES 2775 NO 1770 CHARTER AMENDMENT PROPOSAL No. 3 Shall Section 18.9 of the Charter of the City of Oak Park be amended to change the computation formula for determining average final compensation to a highest annual compensation received in any three years during the last ten years of service as it applies to computing retirement allowance benefits? • YES 3036 NO 18o1 CHARTER AMENDMENT PROPOSAL No. 4 Shall Section 18.10 of the Charter of the City of Oak Park be amended to reduce to fifteen years the number of years an employee of the city must have worked to acquire a vested interest in a retire- ment allowance? YES 3037 NO 1784 CHARTER AMENDMENT PROPOSAL No 5 Shall Section 18.10 of the Charter of the City of Oak Park be amended to reduce to 55 the age for which all employees, other than Public Safety Officers, who shall , be eligible at age 50, must have worked to- acquire a vested interest in a retirement allowance?
