NOVEMBER 6, 19731 THE FOLLOWING PROPOSALS TO AMEND THE CHARTER
OF THE CITY OF OAK PARK WERE APPROVED BY THE ELECTORATE OF. SAID
CITY.

CHARTER AMENDMENT PROPOSAL No. 1
Shall Section 18.7 of the Charter of the
City of Oak Park be amended to provide
for an actuarially computed method for
determining an employee's retirement
allowance, on a reduced basis for early
retirement?

CHARTER AMENDMENT PROPOSAL No. 2
Shall Section 18.7 of the Charter of the
City of Oak Park be amended to provide
for a reduction in the minimum age to
age 50 for Public Safety Officers and age
55 for other classes of employees at
which they may voluntarily retire?

CHARTER AMENDMENT PROPOSAL No. 3
Shall Section 18.9 of the Charter of the City of Oak
Park be amended to change the computation formula
for determining average final compensation to a highest
annual compensation received in any three years during
the last ten years of service as it applies to computing
retirement allowance benefits?
