RE: RELEASE OF COUNTY LAND FOR DISPOSITION BY: PLANNING, ZONING AND BUILDING COMMITTEE - Mr. Olson TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MR. CHAIRMAN, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN: WHEREAS, the Michigan State Highway Commission desires to pur- chase a portion of the County-owned Oakland-Pontiac Airport, said property requested approximating .05 of an acre for the improvement of M-59 at the intersection of M-59 and Williams Lake Road; and WHEREAS, your Aviation and Transportation Committee and Planning, Zoning and Building Committee concur in approving the sale of a portion of the Oakland-Pontiac Airport, to-wit: "All that part of the following described Tract "A" lying Westerly of a line described as follows: Beginning at a point which is South 02 degrees 09 minutes 05 seconds East along the North and South 1/4 line 1064.37 feet from the center of Section 18, Town 3 North, Range 9 East; thence North 87 degrees 50 Minutes 55 seconds East 33 feet; thence Southerly to a point of ending on the South line of said Tract A, said point being 50 feet East of the North & South line of said Section 18.; and WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Planning, Zoning and Building Committee that the best interests of the County will be served if this property is released for sal NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the property above described be released for disposition pursuant to this resaution and the By-Laws. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chairman and Clerk of this Board be and are hereby authorized to execute the necessary conveyances to complete the transfer of said property. MR.
