POTTER AMENDMENT TO MISCELLANEOUS RESOLUTION 4407 -- REFERENCE: ACCEPTANCE—ACCELERATED PUBLIC WORKS GRANT WITH SOUTHEASTERN OAKLAND COUNTY SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS Mr, Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen; WHEREAS, this Board did, on February 23, 1965, adopt Miscellaneous Resolution No. 4407 relative to the acceptance of accelerated public works grant towards the construction of an interceptor in connection with the Southeastern Oakland County Sewage Disposal System; and WHEREAS, due to a misinterpretation of the requirements set forth by the Department of Health, Education and Welfare the amount of revised planned expenditures (exclusive of Federal expenditures) for all capital improvements during fiscal year 1963, July 1, 1962 to June 30, 1963, as indicated in sub- paragraph "b" of said resolution, was erroneously shown as "0"; and WHEREAS, the County Drain Commissioner, acting as Agent for the County in administering the affairs of the Southeastern Oakland County Sewage Disposal System, has been instructed by the said Department of Health, Education and Welfare to take such action as is necessary to correct the misstatement appearing under sub-paragraph "b" referred to above. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that in reference to Federal Sewage Works Grant designated as APW-WPC-Nich.-S53, sub-paragraph "b" of Miscellaneous Resolution No. 4407 be amended to read as follows; Howard Powers #1-423 b) Revised planned or proposed expenditures (exclusive of Federal expenditures) for all capital improvememts during fiscal year 1963, July 1, 1962 to June 30, 1963 were $4,652,494,18 MR, CHAIRMAN, on behalf of the Drain Committee, move the adoption of thc foregoing resolution.
