FURLONG ESECUTIvE A SSISTANT AND SECRETARY TO TI-IE COMMISSION June 1, 1966 To: The County Clerk The matching grant for marine law enforcement as requested by your County Board of Supervisors has been approved. Due to appropriation limitations and the requirements of section 14, Act 245 of the Public Acts of 1959, as amended, the grant will be reduced by 127 of the amount requested. County plans for marine law enforcement and related safety educational programs should take into account this unfortunate but necessary reduction.
