LIST OF OBJECTIONS MADE - AT PUBLIC HEARING
• DECEMBER 21, 1965
1. Because of outsiders coming into t he area on week-ends, skiers spend
three hours each Saturday practicing, starting at 8:00 A.M. Some people
work outside the County and are able to ski only the hours prohibited in
the Ordinance. The Ordinance deprives the taxpayers from enjoying their
property. Some fishermen complain that the fish are frightened away.
This group wants special legislation.
2. Opposed to having the distance widened for water skiers. (200 ft.)
3. Opposed to hour limitation (from 8 to IA). Most persons ski after 7:00 P.M.
4. Present rules should be enforced.
5. Ordinance cannot be enforced because of other people coming in from other
Counties.
6. If present law is enforced, most problems would be solved.
7. Opposed to Sec. la and lb.
8. One person approved of Ordinance. Opposed to water skiers and high-powered
boats on all lakes.
