HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - 1966.02.08 - 19698Miscellaneous Resolution #4533 February 8, 1966 BY: Mr. Carey IN RE: APPROVAL OF OFFICIALS' BONDS TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS Mr. Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen: The County Board of Auditors has reported to your Ways and Means Committee that it has checked the Fidelity and Faithful Performance Bonds filed by the various officials whose terms of office commenced on January 1, 1966, and that of Robert E. Richmond, appointed as Chief Deputy Treasurer on November 18, 1965. Such report states that the bonded amount of each official conforms with the amounts established by the Board of Supervisors by the adoption of Miscellaneous Resolution No. 2469 on February 25, 1949, except as amended as to the County Chief Deputy Treasurer by Miscellaneous Resolution 4394 on December 15, 1964. The Board of Auditors lists the following bonds on file: BONDS ON FILE IN THE COUNTY CLERK'S OFFICE Official's Name Office Bond Amount Bonding Company John B. Osgood County Auditor $ 5,000 Reliance Insurance Co. Robert E. Richmond Chief Deputy Treasurer 300,000 Transamerica Insurance Co. BOND ON FILE IN THE DRAIN COMMISSIONER'S OFFICE James R. Nichols Deputy Drain Commissioner 5,000 Western Surety Co. BOND ON FILE IN THE BOARD OF AUDITORS' OFFICE John A. MacDonald Member, Social Welfare 5,000 Reliance Insurance Co.
