Louis F./Oldenburg BY: Mr. Carey IN RE: FENCING OF ADDITIONAL PROPERTY FOR COUNTY SERVICE CENTER TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS Mr. Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS, by Miscellaneous Resolution #4513 dated December 21, 1965, this Board agreed to purchase 6.7 acres on Telegraph Road; and WHEREAS, Act 171 of the Public Acts of 1965 requires that the County agree to construct at no cost to the State a 6-foot chain link fence along the full length of the east boundary of the described parcel, the length of such fence to be approximately 450 feet; and WHEREAS, through oversight, the agreement to fence the property with such a fence was not in Miscellaneous Resolution 4 4513; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the County of Oakland agrees to fence the 6.7 acres described in Miscellaneous Resolution #4513 with a six (6) foot cyclone fence as required by Act 171 of the Public Acts of 1965. MR, CHAIRMAN, on behalf of the Ways & Means and Buildings & Grounds Committees, I move the adoption of the foregoing resolution.
