IN RE: APPOINTMENT OF MEMBER OF COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH
TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
Mr. Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS the appointment of a member of the County Board of Health for a five
year term will be considered by the Board at the meeting today, and
WHEREAS your Health Committee has had under consideration a possible recommen-
dation to replace the County Board of Health by the Health Committee of the Board of
Supervisors as permitted by state law;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the appointment by the Board of the
member of the County Board of Health for a five year term be not made at this time;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Health Committee be authorized to bring in a
report and recommendation to the Board on this sublect at the next meeting.
MR. CHAIRMAN, on behalf of the Health Committee, I move the adoption of the
foregoing resolution.
