RESOLUTION 3936
RE: COMPENSATION OF DPW B
BY: WAYS AND MEANS COMMITTEE
MR. CHAIRMAN, LADIES & GENTLEMEN:
WHEREAS, Act 185 of the Public Acts of 1954 was amended by
Act 18 of the Public Acts of 1959; and
WHEREAS, Act 185 of the Public Acts of 1951 as amended, provides
that the compensation of Members of the Board of Public Works shall be
fixed by the Board of Supervisors; and
WHEREAS, Members of the Board of Public Works have been compen-
sated in the following manner:
Chairman - $25.00 per meeting and
Other Members entitled to payment - at the rate of $15.00 per
meeting;
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Act 185 of the Public
Acts of 1957 as amended, this Bo; is required to fix the compensation,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that this Board does hereby fix the
compensation of the Members of the Board of Public Works entitled to
compensation at the following rates: 'Chairman - $25.00, Other Members
entitled to Payment - $15.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Board does hereby ratify and
validate the compensation previously paid to the Members of the Board
of Public Works entitled to such compensation.
Mr. Chairman, on behalf of the Ways and Means Committee, I move
the adoption of the foregoing resolution.

A sufficient majority having voted therefor, the resolution was
adopted.
