HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - 1962.06.25 - 19868June 25 1 1962 RESOLUTION RE; AUTHORIZE CONTRACT RESTAURANT .COURT TOWER BY WAYS & MEANS COMMITTEE TO TBE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS: Mr, Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS, the Board of Auditors was authorized by the adoption of Miscellaneous Resolution 3647 on September 11, 1961, to enter into a lease with C. R.Davis for the operation of a restaurant and lunch counter business at the Court House Tower after working out a satisfactory operating procedure; and WHEREAS, C. R.Davis operated the restaurant under a temporary agreement with the Board of Auditors, but the lease was never executed; and WHEREAS, C. R. Davis on May 2, 1962, gave notice of a cancellae tion of all greenents with the County; and WHEREAS, the Board of Auditors has negotiated for a contract with Elden R. Kilgore and B. Fay Kilgore, his wife, of 3151 Whitfield Court, Waterford, Michigan; and WHEREAS, the terms of the proposed three (3) year contract with the Kilgores have been reviewed and approved by the Ways and Means and Buildings and Grounds committees for recommendation to the board; NOW TIE :FORE '• IT RESOLVED as follows: 10 A11 agreements between the County and Co R. Fay Kilgore, his wife, on the terms and conditions approved by the Committees; 3.
