Marshal Miscellaneous Resolution 4020 BY: Mr. Brickner IN RE: PROPOSED CHILDREN"S VILLAGE, DIAGNOSTIC AND SERVICE CENTER TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS Mr. Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen: The recently announced program to provide a modern village to house children to be known as "Children's Village, Diagnostic and Service Center" has been studied by your Juvenile Committee. The details of this plan as submitted by Probate Judge Arthur E. Moore has been furnished to each member of the Board. At a meeting of the Juvenile Committee on September 27, 1962, a resolution was adopted recommending that the Board of Supervisors approve this plan in principle. MR. CHAIRMAN, on behalf of the Juvenile Committee, I offer the following resolution: BE IT RESOLVED by this Board of Supervisors that the plan to construct a Children's Village, Diagnostic and Service Center as submitted by Probate Judge Arthur E. Moore be approved in principle° BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Juvenile Committee be authorized to continue to study this plan and to report back to the Board progress on the plan at future meetings. MR. CHAIRMAN, on behalf of the Juvenile Affairs Committee, I move the adoption of the foregoing resolution. JUVENILE AFFAIRS COMMITTEE October 1, 1962 Abra Moved by Bonner supported by Marshall the resolution be adopted. A sufficient majority having voted therefor, the motion carried.
