Horton Miscellaneous Resolution 4052 November 7, 1962 BY: Mr, Levinson IN RE: APPROPRIATION FOR STUDY OF SPACE NEEDS To the Oakland County Board of Supervisors Mr. Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS, the Special County Building Committee has made a recommendation to the Ways and Means Committee that further studies of the future space needs be made, and WHEREAS, studies of requirements of the various County departments and institutions have been made in the past by Dr. L. L. Friedland, of Wayne State University, and WHEREAS, the previous studies should be brought to date for use of the various Committees of the Board in future planning, and WHEREAS, it is estimated that such study will cost about $2,000.00; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows: 1. That the Board of Auditors be authorized to enter into an agreement with Dr. L. L. Friedland to make the necessary studies of space needs for County departments and institutions which might be anticipated for the next ten years. 2. That a sum not to exceed $2,000.00 be appropriated from the Contingent Fund for this purpose. MR. CHAIRMAN, on behalf of the Ways and Means Committee, I move the adoption of the foregoing resolution.
