To the Oakland County Board of Supervisors
Mr a Chairman, Ladies and GentleMen:
The Superviseros Inter-County Committee has presented to this Board for
consideration a 13 point legislativ= Program for 1963a Your Legislative
Co ,mitte has mail. a study of these proposals and now recommends approval in
principal of the following 9 ite.u:
1. Mentally Ill PO'OTIS County to ree ,ive edit for legal obligation
to pay for hospitaliz tion of patients for first year from date of initial
commitm-=nt, rather than date of final commitment and admission to state
hospitals.
2. Tubercul

Michigan*
30 Legislation to secure Pall acceptance by the State and/or Federal
government for the total cost. of financing category oases .(1.e.t Aid to

Discussion followed relative to item 4 (Marriage License fee).
Moved by Marshall supported by McCartney that Item 4 be held
for further study and be included in the paragraph entitled "increase
fees".
