BY: Mr. Levinson IN RE: BOND - DEPUTY COUNTY TREASURER To the Oakland County Board of Supervisors Mr, Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS Act No. 115 of the Public Acts of 1953 (M.S.A. 5.683) requires each Deputy County Treasurer or other employee to execute and file an official bond, blanket or individual bond, for the faithful performance of their duties in such amount, form and manner as shall be prescribed by the Board of Supervisors, and WHEREAS the County Treasurer has recommended that the Bond of the Chief Deputy be fixed in the amount of $300,000.00 , NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the bond of the Chief Deputy Treasurer of Oakland County be fixed in the amount of $300,000.00 to run to the Board of Supervisors and the People of the State of Michigan; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the cost of the bond be paid from the General Fund of the County. MR. CHAIRMAN, on behalf of the Ways and Means Committee, I move the adoption of the foregoing resolution.
