IN RE: CONTRACT FOR CONSULTING ENGINEERING SERVICES WITH HYDE & BOBBIO,
INC., CONSULTING ENGINEERS, DETROIT, MICHIGAN
TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
Mr. Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS, the proposed contract for consulting engineering services in connection
with federal project APW-MICH.-18G (Service Center Utilities) with Hyde & Bobbio, Inc.,
was reviewed by the Buildings and Grounds Committee at their meeting on February 1, 1963,
and
WHEREAS, the Buildings and Grounds Committee recommends the letting of said
contract to the firm of Hyde & Bobbio, Inc., at a basic fee of 6% of the estimated cost
of the project (approximately $30,960) as being in the best interests of the County, and
WHEREAS, the Ways and Means Committee has reviewed said contract and concurs
in the recommendation of the Buildings and Grounds Committee;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Auditors
be and are hereby authorized to execute the contract with the firm of Hyde & Bobbio, Inc,
for consulting engineering services in connection with federal project APW-MICH.-I8G
(Service Center Utilities), said contract to be approved by the Corporation Counsel.
MR. CHAIRMAN, on behalf of the Ways and Means Committee, I move the adoption
of the foregoing resolution.
