Dear Mr. Murphy:
This will acknowledge receipt of the Resolution of the
Oakland County Board of Supervisors to name a lake in
White Lake Township in honor of Mr. Tull. A case brief
for the proposed name "Tull Lake" has been prepared for
the consideration of the Board on Geographic Names, and
a decision may be expected in 60 to 90 days.
In order to complete our file on this proposal, however,
it would be useful to have Mr. Tull's full name, the
dates of his birth and death, and possibly a short bi-
ography. This information might be included in the
published decision if the proposed name is approved for
Federal use by the Board.
Sincerely yours,
