The change requested provided for certain revisions to the heating and ventilation control system in the Auditorium, which changes will allow for the future inciusion of a central board for regulating and controlling the heating and ventilation systems throughout the entire Court House complex. Inasmuch as the proposed central control system presently under study by the Board of Auditors will, if installed, call for a considerable outlay of monies, it was felt by your Committees that the Board should be apprised of this preliminary action taken. Approval by the Committees was predicated on the following considerations: 1. Advice on the part of the Auditors and Engineers that the future proposed system is necessary for the over-all operating efficiency of the Court House complex but that final details as to the extent and design of the same have not yet been determined. 2. Preliminary studies indicate possible labor savings. 3. That if the proposed changes recommended were not made at this time, some $4,500.00 of work to be done under the present Auditorium plans will be wasted upon installation of the proposed central control system, 4. That prompt action was necessitated in order to avoid delay in the completion of the Auditorium. Finalization of the present study of the proposed central control system is expected in the near future and at that time your Committees win present for Board consideration their final recommendations.
