OF CITY CHARTER
ersigned, being the duly elected and qualified Clerk
of the City of Pontiac, does hereby certify that the Home Rule
Charter for the City of Pontiac annexed hereto was published
in the Oakland Press, a newspaper of general circulation in
the City of Pontiac, on September 1, 1981 as directed by a
resolution of the Charter Revision Commission of the City of
Pontiac and was submitted to the voters of the City of Pontiac
for their approval at a special election Yeld on September 15,
1981; that the Charter was then adopted by a majority of the
voters of the City of Pontiac voting thereon by a vote of
2245 (yes) to 1881 (no); that the results of ch election
were duly certified by the BoTd of Canvassers on the
day of September , 1981; and that the Charter will take
effect as the Charter for the City of Pontiac on the dates pre-
scribed therein.

We, the undersigned, constituting a majority of t'- Board of Canvassers for the City of
Pontiac, Oakland County, Michigan, hereby certify that on Thursday, September 17, 1981,
and on Wednesday, September 23, 1981, we met and canvassed the returns of the election
inspectors for the City Commission Primary and Special Election held in sIld City on
Tuesday, September 15, 1981, and we do hereby certify that the votes cast t said election
for candidates for the office of City Commissioner for Districts No. 2, 4, 6, and 7
