Absent: None Motion Carried.
Mr. Hipple inquired about problems at VanHoosen Middle School. Clerk Leslie
reported that the Clerk's Office had received some complaints as to the construction
traffic and the difficulty in parking. Ms. Leslie advised that letters had been sent to
all voters in the two precincts that vote at VanHoosen as to the conditions they might
experience. Construction was an issue at Precinct 11, Reuther Middle School as
well. Voters all received notice and were offered the option of voting absentee for
this election.
The board discussed the AutoMARK accessible equipment. It was noted that several
voters were reported to have used it in their precincts. Questions were asked about
the election equipment including the M-100s as to problems. A few problems were
reported and were resolved at the time.
Ms. Grace inquired as to votes counted if a voter cross-voted. None of the partisan
section would be counted but the non-partisan and proposal sections would count.
Mr. Hipple inquired as to precinct delegate write-ins. One candidate filed a
Declaration of Intent at Precinct 20; Timothy Moore received 5 votes.
The attached print outs represent the Official Canvass of the Rochester Hills
Canvassing Board. There being no further business, the Board adjourned at 5:00
