IN RE: MEMORIAL FOR PETER T. BREWER
TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
Mr. Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen:
Peter T. Brewer, a former member of this Board, passed away at the age of 72 on
April 9, 1964, at his home in Addison Township.
He served as Township treasurer from 1921 to 1923, was Supervisor of Addison
Township and a member of this Board from 1923 to 1928. He also served on the zoning
board and board of review.
He was active in the Masons for 41 years, being a life member of the Romeo Lodge
No. 41 F. & A. M., and served on the Board of the Romeo Community Hospital.
He was born on March 7, 1892, in the same house in which he passed away
and leaves as his survivors his wife Dora, two sisters Jessie and Bessie, and three
nephews.
Peter T. Brewer was a dedicated man and served his community well. He will
be missed by all who knew him in his various endeavors.
MR. CHAIRMAN, I move that the foregoing memorial be spread upon the minutes
of this meeting of the Board of Supervisors and that the County Clerk be instructed to
forward a certified copy thereof to his surviving wife, Dora Brewer, 1011 Brewer Street,
Addison Township, Oakland County, Michigan.
