To the Oakland County Board of Supervisors
Mr. Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen:
The following is a report of the distribution to the various cities and
townships of Oakland County of $12,143,678.89, which amount represents that
portion of the 1965 county budget to be raised by taxation, (5.26 mills on
the County's 1964 Equalized Valuation of $2,308,684,200.)
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that each Supervisor of the several Townships
and the Assessing Officers of the several Cities of Oakland County be and they
are hereby authorized and directed to spread on their respective Township or
City Tax Rolls for the year 1964, the sum set opposite the name of their Town-
ship or City as shown on the following distribution report as their portion of
the County General Fund Tax to be raised by taxation for the year 1965, the
total of which is $12,143,678.89.

LOCAL TAXES COMMITTEE
Public Hearing on Spread of Taxes
Statement by Chairman of the Board
At this time, in accordance with the requirements of the State law, a public
hearing is now called on the report of the Committee on Local Taxes. The Committee
held a preliminary hearing on this report in Committee Room "A" on September 30, 1964,
at 10:00 a.m. The report has been prepared by the Local Taxes Committee based on
requirements submitted by each of the local units. Each township supervisor and city
assessor has previously been furnished with the figures affecting his unit. Mr. Oldenburg,
Chairman of the Committee, will now present the report.
