Studied These Instructions Thoroughly.
BEFORE VOTING:
Study the various sections which appear on this Instruction Ballot.
To the right of each candidate's name and to the right of the "YES" and
"NO" of the proposition is a number. These are the numbers you MUST
locate on the Official Ballot Card when you are ready to vote.
Examine the Official Ballot Card: It is a computer card stapled to a foam
backing. A "punching tool" is attached to the Official Ballot Card (remove
too prior to voting). On the face of the card are a series of numbers with
a small "black dot" above each number,

TO VOTE:
Using the "punching tool" furnished (nothing else) firmly punch out the small
"black dot" on the card ABOVE the number which corresponds to the
number to the RIGHT of the candidate's name and the YES or NO of the
proposition according to your choice. (See Sketch Below)
NOTE: Punch with sufficient force to be sure that the "black dot" is com-
pletely punched out of the card and into the foam backing. .
WRITE-IN VOTES: To vote for a candidate not on the ballot, write or place
the name of candidate and office on the space provided on the inside of
the ballot envelope.
AFTER VOTING, raise (do not detach)
the Official Ballot Card from foam
backing.

Shall the City of Rochester Hills levy a now tax
of up to one-quarter (1/4) mill to establish, con-
struct, maintain and repair pathways and surfaces
to be used by bicycles, non-motorized transpor-
tation and pedestrians along main and arterial
roads in the City, the tax to be authorized under
Section 4.2.7 of the City Charter for a period of ,5
ten (10) years, the years 1994-2003, inclusive, on
the assessed valuation, as equalized, of all pro-
perty assessed for taxes in the City, with an
estimated first year revenue of up to $454,285?
POLICE PROTECTION
MILLAGE RENEWAL
Shall the City of Rochester Hills renew a tax levy
of up to 0.3405 mill for purposes of providing police
protection, the tax to be authorized under Section
4.2.7 of the City Charter for a period of twenty (20)
years, the years 1994-2013, inclusive, on the
assessed valuation, as equalized, of all property Li, 9417
assessed for taxes in the City with an estimated
