RE: Management & Budget-STATE BOARD OF EQUALIZATION HEARING APPOINTMENTS
TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
Mr. Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of Act 106 of the Public Acts of 1960, as
amended, the State Tax Commission will meet in the City of Lansing at the State Law Building
on Tuesday, May 26, 1992 to hear representatives of the several counties pertaining to the
State Equalized Value for each county in the State; and
WHEREAS your Committee recommends that the Chairperson of the Committee be
authorized to appoint a subcommittee of four (4) members, with the other members of the
Committee being alternates, the Equalization Manager and Corporation Counsel to appear, if
necessary, before the State Tax Commission on behalf of the County of Oakland.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to the provisions of Act 106 of the
Public Acts of 1960, as amended, the following shall be appointed by the Oakland County Board
of Commissioners to represent the County of Oakland at the hearing of the State Tax
Commission to be held in the City of Lansing on Tuesday, May 26, 1992, four (4) members of
the Finance Committee, Equalization Manager, Don L. Bailey, and Corporation Counsel, Jack C.
Hays.
Mr. Chairperson, on behalf of the Finance Committee, I move the adoption of the
foregoing resolution.
