The proposed amendment to the Royal Oak Charter, if approved, would allow the City to levy a millage, for a period not to exceed five (5) years up to 1.00 mill, to defray the costs of refuse collection, disposal and curbside recycling. WAS PASSED, having received the required majority of votes, id est: TOTAL BALLOTS CAST: 8,847 YEA: 5,291 NAY: 3,031 WE DO HEREBY CERTIFY, that the foregoing is a correct statement of votes as submitted at the August 8, 2006 Election as it appears from the statement on file in the City Clerk's Office of the City of Royal Oak.
