Lit L The following is the report of the City Eoara Of Canvas*6'rs regarding
the Biennial Municipal Election held in the City of Royal Oak on
Tuesday, November 4, 1997:

COUNTY OF OAKLAND)
The Board of Canvassers of the City of Royal Oak, Michigan, having
ascertained and canvassed the votes of said City at the Biennial
Municipal Election held on November 4, 1997,
DO HEREBY CERTIFY AND DETERMINE:
That Dennis G. Cowan, having received the largest number of votes is
elected MAYOR;
That Peter H. Webster, having received the largest number of votes
(4463) in the four-year term of office is elected CITY COMMISSIONER;
That Marie Donigan, having received the second largest number of votes
(4333) in the four-year term of offices is elected CITY COMMISSIONER;
That Laura J. Harrison, having received the third largest number of
votes (4031) in the four-year term of office, is elected CITY
COMMISSIONER;
That Ilene Lanfear, having received the largest number of votes (3233)
in the two-year term of office, is elected CITY COMMISSIONER.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, we have hereunto set our hands and affixed the Seal
of the City of Royal Oak this sixth day of November, in the year of our
Lord one thousand nine hundred ninety-seven.
