HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - 2014.03.06 - 21190MISCELLANEOUS RESOLUTION #14038 March 6, 2014 BY: Human Resources Committee, John Scott, Chairperson IN RE: HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT - SALARY ADMINISTRATION PLAN 2 nd QUARTERLY REPORT FOR FY2014 TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS the Salary Administration Plan approved by the Board of Commissioners for Salary Grades 1 - 21 provides a process for departments and employees to request a review of the salary grade placement of classifications; and WHEREAS the 2 nd Quarterly Report for FY 2014 identifies the job studies conducted and the salary grade changes recommended by the Human Resources Department after completion of this review process; and WHEREAS funding is available in the Classification and Rate Change fund to implement any GF/GP salary grade changes resulting from this Salary Administration Plan Quarterly Report recommendation. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland Board of Commissioners authorizes implementation of the Salary Administration Plan 2" Quarterly Report for FY 2014, which includes the following changes: 1. Reclassify one position to a new classification with no change in salary grade: Job Code From Classification Salary Grade To Classification 000014 Administrative Assistant CHPIS 14 Quality and Process Improvement Supervisor 2. Upwardly reclassify two (2) positions to a new classification: Position Number From Classification Salary Grade To Classification Salary Grade 1040770-01262 Alarm Technician 9 Security Systems Specialist 10 1040770-01433 3. Create one (1) new classification titled HRIS Supervisor, salary grade 14, FLSA Exempt Chairperson, on behalf of the Human Resources Committee, I move the adoption of the foregoing resolution. HUMAN RESOURCES COMMITTEE Motion carried unanimously on a roll call vote. Resolution #14038 March 6, 2014 The Chairperson referred the resolution to the Finance Committee. There were no objections.
