November 5, 1987
A Regular Meeting of the Board of Canvassers convened
at 8:00 p.m. on November 5, 1987, at the City Hall, 26000
Evergreen Road, Southfield, Michigan, to canvas the results of
the City General Election held November 3, 1987.
PRESENT: Lillian Bodner, Sheridan Holzman, Newel Webb and
Beverly Crosthwaite
ABSENT: None
A resolution was offered by Crosthwaite and supported
by Holzman that Lillian Bodnar be elected Chairman of the Meeting
of the Board of Canvassers.
Motion was adopted.
WHEREAS, at the General Election duly called and held
in the City of Southfield, County of Oakland, pursuant to the
provisions of Act 239, Public Acts of 1970, as amended on
September 15, 1981, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00
Eastern Standard Time, the candidates whose names appear
hereafter were presented on the ballot at said General City
Election; and
WHEREAS, the votes cast at said election have been
filed in the office of the City Clerk, and have been presented
and examined by the Board of Canvassers; now
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Canvassers
hereby determines that the votes cast for the candidates at the
said General Election held on November 3, 1987, were as follows:

A motion was made and seconded to adjourn, and the

complete copy of a resolution adopted by the Board of Canvassers
at their meeting of November 5, 1987.
