HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - 1993.03.31 - 21644MISCELLANEOUS RESOLUTION #93027 March 4, 1993 BY: PERSONNEL COMMITTEE - Marilynn Gosling, Chairperson IN PE: PROBATE COURT - 1993 WAGE RE-OPENER AGREEMENT FOR PROBATE COURT EMPLOYEES REPRESENTED BY THE AMERICAN FEDERATICA OF STATE, COUNTY AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES, LOCAL 2437 To the Oakland County Board of Commissioners Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS, the Oakland County Probate Court and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, Local 2437, have been negotiating a 1993 wage rate pursuant to a wage re-opener contained in the 1991 - 1993 labor agreement; and WHEREAS, an agreement has been reached for the period December 26, 1992 through December 31, 1993 and said agreement has been reduced to writing; and WHEREAS, the agreement has been reviewed by your Personnel Committee which recommends approval of the agreement. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the agreement between the Oakland County Probate Court and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, Local 2437, be and the same are hereby approved; and that the Chairperson of this Board, on behalf of the County of Oakland, be and is hereby authorized to execute said agreement, copy of which is attached hereto. PERSONNEL COMMITTEE AFSC&ME, Council 25 AFL-CIO, Local 2437 COUNTY OF OAKLAND, A Michigan Constitutional Corporation airy Cp6ke, Chairperson 161EFERANDUM OF AGREEMENr This agreement is entered into this 14,t day of 1993 between the Oakland County Probate Court and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, AFL-CIO, Council 25 pursuant to Appendix A of the 1990 - 1993 collective bargaining agreement which provides for negotiations to determine a 1993 wage rate for employees represented by this union. The parties agree that the wages fcr calendar year 1993 shall be increased by 3% for all classifications represented by the union, except the Court Service Officer II classification which shall receive a 1.5% increase.
