HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - 2015.11.12 - 22085MISCELLANEOUS RESOLUTION #15286 November 12, 2015 BY: Public Services Committee, Bill Dwyer, Chairperson IN RE: SHERIFF'S OFFICE - ESTABLISHMENT OF STANDARD LAW ENFORCEMENT SERVICES CONTRACT RATES AND CONTRACT APPROVAL -JANUARY 1,2016 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2016 To the Oakland County Board of Commissioners Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS it is the policy of the Oakland County Board of Commissioners to permit the Sheriffs Office to enter into contracts with townships, villages and cities for the purpose of providing Sheriff patrol services; and WHEREAS the County Executive and the Sheriff are recommending that the 2015 contract rates be extended for one year for the period commencing January 1,2016, through December 31, 2016; and WHEREAS these rates have been through the County Executive review process. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the following rates be established per officer for Law Enforcement Services for the period January 1, 2016, through December 31, 2016: Contract Captain Lieutenant Patrol Sergeant Det. Sergeant Dep II (w/fill) Dep II (no-fill) Dep II (no-fill/no vehicle) Patrol Inv. Dep I (no-fill) 2016 $197,067 $170,867 $150,173 $154,693 $152,874 $130,888 $123,237 $135,408 $120,579 Chairperson, on behalf of the Public Services Committee, I move adoption of the foregoing resolution. PUBLIC SERVICES COMMITTEE PUBLIC SERVICES COMMITTEE Motion carried unanimously on a roll call vote. Resolution #15286 November 12 2015 The Chairperson referred the resolution to the Finance Committee. There were no objections.
