IN RE: PERSONNEL DEPARTMENT - 1993 WAGE RE-OPENER AGREEMENT FOR EMPLOYEES
REPRESENTED BY THE OAKLAND COUNTY EMPLOYEES UNION
TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
Mr. Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS the County of Oakland and the Oakland County Employees Union
have been negotiating a 1993 wage rate pursuant to a wage reopener contained
in the 1991 - 1993 labOr agreement; and
WHEREAS an agreement has been reached for the period December 26,
1992 through December 31, 1993 and said agreement has been reduced to writing;
and
WHEREAS the agreement has been reviewed by your Personnel Committee
which recommends approval of the agreement.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the agreement between the County
of Oakland and the Oakland County Employees Union be and the same are hereby
approved; and that the Chairperson of this Board, on behalf of the County of
Oakland, be and is hereby authorized to execute said agreement, copy of which
is attached hereto.
Mr. Chairperson, on behalf of the Personnel Committee, I move the
adoption of the foregoing resolution.

This agreement is entered into this day of
1993 between the County of Oakland and the Oakland County Employees Union
pursuant to Appendix B through I of the 1991 - 1993 collective bargaining
agreement which provides for negotiations to determine a 1993 wage rate for
employees represented by this union.
The parties agree that the wages for calendar year 1993 shall be
increased by 3% for all classifications represented by the union, except the
Clinical Psychologist II which shall receive a 2.442% increase. These
increases shall become effective December 26, 1992.
