HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - 2016.11.10 - 22673MISCELLANEOUS RESOLUTION #16315 November 10, 2016 BY: Public Services Committee, Bill Dwyer, Chairperson IN RE: SHERIFF'S OFFICE - ESTABLISHMENT OF STANDARD LAW ENFORCEMENT SERVICES CONTRACT RATES AND CONTRACT APPROVAL - JANUARY 1, 2017 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2018 To the Oakland County Board of Commissioners Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS it is the policy of the Oakland County Board of Commissioners to permit the Sheriff's Office to enter into contracts with townships, villages and cities for the purpose of providing Sheriff patrol services; and WHEREAS the County Executive and the Sheriff developed the 201712018 contract rates for the period commencing January 1,2017, through December 31, 2018; and WHEREAS these rates have been through the County Executive review process. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the following rates be established per officer for Law Enforcement Services for the period January 1, 2017, through December 31, 2018: Contract Captain Lieutenant Patrol Sergeant Det. PUBLIC SERVICES COMMITTEE Motion carried unanimously on a roll call vote. Resolution #16315 November 10, 2016 The Chairperson referred the resolution to the Finance Committee. There were no objections.
